The Write Anyway Summit is a 4-day event that will help authors overcome the most common obstacles and sabotages to getting their writing and audience building done. The summit runs October 21-24.

How the Event Will Work
The Write Anyway Summit will run from October 21-24, 2024. Presentations will include 20-30 minutes of content (with up to a 5-minute freebie pitch).
Along with the presentations, there will be a Circle community group for attendees to have fun in, hold each other accountable, and ask questions. If attendees have good questions while your presentation is going on, you’re welcome to go live in the Circle community group for a bit of an encore to answer those questions, connect with the attendees, and provide even more help to writers.
Leading up to the summit, we’ll have two weeks of promotion. You’ll be provided with email swipe copy, social media swipe copy, and social media graphics to make it all easy! I'll even have a suggested posting/sending schedule for you to make promo easy to outsource to a VA.
During the promotion phase, as the summit is running, and for a week after the summit is complete, we’ll also be promoting the All Access Pass. This includes an all-access pass for the replays, bonus live sessions, co-writing sessions, Live Q&As, a private podcast feed and bonus contributions from presenters
This will provide immense value to our attendees, while making the work of promoting and creating a presentation worthwhile by allowing you to bring in affiliate commissions and grow your email list. Yay!
What We’ll Ask of You
So this all sounds great, but what kind of work does it require of you? Let’s chat about it!
1. BASIC INFORMATION
The first thing I’ll need is some basic information from you so we can finish up our registration page and Speakers page.
Once you give me the thumbs up that you’re in, you can submit your basic info here.
2. PRESENTATION
Next up is your presentation! This is a 20-30 minute pre-recorded conversation with me or one of my developmental editor colleagues that is meant to be more friendly and casual than perfect and structured. We want our attendees to learn something great, while having fun in the process.
Please structure your content in a way that allows attendees to walk away feeling like they've really learned something, rather than a webinar format where they feel like they're missing something that they need to buy from you asap.
If you would like to use a pre-recorded presentation rather than an interview, I’m open to that.
You have your choice of the following presentation formats:
Interview with Sue Campbell, Anne Hawley or Rachelle Ramirez (recommended)
Slides
No slides (just your wonderful face)
If you’d like to go with the interview-style presentation, schedule a time with me to do that with Sue Campbell here or Rachelle Ramirez here. We’ll work together to come up with questions.
No matter what format you choose, you are, of course, free to use your presentation however you’d like in the future.
If you’re doing a presentation instead of an interview, your presentation should include great, actionable content. Here’s the suggested format:
A quick introduction
An overview of your topic
Where people go wrong with your topic and tend to overcomplicate it
Teaching section
Specific action steps (with the goal of simplifying their existing process)
Up to a 3-minute freebie pitch

3. ALL ACCESS PASS CONTRIBUTION
The All Access Pass will be a huge addition to the presentations we’re running. To make it even more valuable and to give you an additional way to grow your email list, I’ll ask each of you to provide one resource to add. This includes things like:
Templates
Workbooks
Courses (big or small)
1-month memberships
eBooks
Note: We expect this to convert well so we do not recommend contributing any 1:1 offers.
It’s totally up to you to decide whether you’d like to create something new or provide something you already have. While this isn’t required, it’s highly encouraged that you participate.
Anyone who does contribute a premium resource will get a 50% affiliate commission on sales, rather than 40%. It’s also an opportunity to collect hundreds of extra email addresses as attendees claim your offer.
We cannot accept freebies or percentage-off offers.
Information for these resources is due on September 24, 2024. You can submit your AAP contribution here.
Attendees will be able to start claiming your bonus right when registration opens on October 2, 2024.
4. PROMOTION
The power of an online summit comes from a group of experts coming together for a single cause. The joint promotion that happens because of that is a huge benefit to everyone involved.
Because of that, everyone is encouraged to share on social media and to email their lists during the promotion period, starting on October 7, 2024.
You’ll want to share using your affiliate link (which you can set up here.) so you can get in on the 40% commission that will come from any All Access Pass sales (50% if you've contributed a premium bonus).

5. EVENT PARTICIPATION (optional)
And last comes participation during the week of the event. Since we’ll already have done the work of creating the presentations and extra resources, we’ll be able to sit back and relax for the most part!
All we ask is that you interact in the community group to the extent you are able. This is a great way to build rapport with authors and get them excited about your session. You can join the community here.
Affiliate Details
While summits are great for overall visibility and making new connections, a little extra income never hurts either, right?
That’s exactly why I’ve set up an affiliate program for the All Access Pass where you’ll receive a commission from all sales from traffic you refer to the event. Payouts will be made by November 15, 2024.
The commission structure is as follows:
40% for all speakers
50% for all speakers who include a premium bonus
The pricing structure will be:

All-Access Pass Full Price: $197
To make it as easy as possible for you to generate extra income, the Resource Vault includes things like email swipe copy, social media copy, and social share graphics. However, you’re more than welcome to write your own copy and even run your own Facebook ads.
