Lindsey Trout Hughes is a writer and theater maker. Her essays have appeared in Bright Wall/Dark Room, The Rumpus, and Catapult, where she writes Ghost Light, a quarterly column about theater, intimacy, and longing. Her craft essay for Catapult about bringing acting techniques to exploratory writing is being taught at DePaul University. She is at work on her first book, a memoir. She is also a ghostwriter, copywriter, and developmental editor. She is an Assistant Books Editor at Barrelhouse and part of the team at the London Writers' Salon.
