Dr. Karen Shue

Dr Karen Shue practiced for over 30 years as a neuropsychologist working with all sorts of brains and their humans. Her interest and expertise is in how brains function — not so much their anatomy and chemistry, but rather in their networks of connections and the Dance of those networks as they reveal us to ourselves. She is open to the use of alternative “technologies” such as divination, dreams and other ways of accessing information we are not necessarily paying attention to or even could be aware of. She sees these as tools for generating actual writing content, but especially for discovering our writing identities and patterns of thought about ourselves as writers.
